Adasina's Q2 Investor Briefing:

Adasina’s Latest Racial Justice Investment Screens

This Briefing offers an opportunity to gain deeper insights into how Adasina collaborates with its Social Justice Partners, how we implement these screens in our portfolio to align with the ongoing work of racial justice movements, and how we advance that work in financial markets.

Description

This quarter we will feature a conversation on the newest racial justice-focused investment screens in Adasina's portfolios: Indigenous Peoples’ Rights and Local Communities’ Rights. Adasina’s Renee Morgan, Director of Social Justice, and Kevin O’Neal Smith, Impact Strategist, will be joined by Social Justice Partners Kate Finn, Executive Director of First People’s Worldwide, and David Pred, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Inclusive Development International. Together, they will discuss what criteria were chosen for these screens and why, patterns of corporate violations that create and perpetuate harm, and how these violations are material for investors.
