Roberto brings his experience in the investment management industry and as a grassroots social justice organizer to his role as Managing Director, Investments & Impact. In this role, Roberto plans, directs, and performs strategic and operational activities, including managing the Adasina Strategy Directors, who are responsible for implementing Adasina’s investment and impact strategies. Prior to his role as Managing Director, Investments & Impact, Roberto led the public equities investment management process and oversaw the implementation of Adasina products in the marketplace as Adasina’s Investment Strategist.

Prior to working for Adasina, Roberto held roles at Vanguard including Senior Investment Operations Analyst, for which he specialized in the valuation and collateral management of over-the-counter derivatives positions; Lean Management Specialist, for which he specialized in process improvement; and Brokerage Professional. Prior to working in investment management, Roberto worked in retail banking for national and regional banks. During his time in retail banking, Roberto helped Southwest and West Philadelphia residents improve their financial literacy to create successful pathways toward building credit and homeownership.

Roberto is dedicated to enhancing the visibility of and creating a voice for the Transgender community. He has contributed to Black and Transgender intersectional advocacy within his places of employment and community by assisting in the creation of a Transgender employment guide and consulting across sectors within the local Philadelphia community. Roberto is a former Board Member of the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund and completed the New Leaders Council Fellowship Program, which inducted him into a network of local changemakers working across identities, industries, and issues to make a collective impact.

Roberto is a Louisville, Kentucky native and currently lives in Philadelphia, where he graduated from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
