Ryan Arnez Monroe
Institutional Business Development Director
As Institutional Business Development Director, Ryan leads Adasina’s institutional business development team and marketing/communication strategy. Our business development team works in concert with Adasina’s Social Justice and Investment Strategy teams to broaden awareness of our value proposition with aligned stakeholders and to increase assets under management in our flagship ETF/SMA product offerings.
Ryan comes to Adasina with 20 years of experience in relationship management, business development, and operational management, acquired through various roles within impact investing, investment advisory, and affluent retail banking.
Ryan possesses Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses. He is a graduate of Pace University’s Lubin School of Business in New York City and earned a Sustainable Investment Professional Certification from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business in Montreal.
In addition to his work with Adasina, Ryan is a professional working creative who owns and operates a commercial photography studio and a flex use space dedicated to creative placemaking empowering entrepreneurial endeavors of other BIPOC creatives in Newark, NJ. He is actively involved in numerous community and philanthropic endeavors, all concentric to a positive impact on historically marginalized communities. His roles include: current board member of Newark Arts (City of Newark’s Art Council/Advocacy Organization), Co-Founder of the Our Business Newark Initiative via Invest Newark (City of Newark’s Economic Development Corporation), former board member of New Jersey’s Hetrick-Martin Institute, and community engagement partner to La Casa de Don Pedro and NJPAC.
Ryan was born in Denver, spent the majority of his adulthood in Brooklyn, and now proudly resides in Newark.
